IKA e-Hive provides a 'Constant Voltage' (voltage max. = 25 V) screening platform with a maximum of 24 reactions simultaneously (no individual control). This efficient screening tool is recommended for early stage reaction discovery. For example, in order to quickly sort possible entries, e-Hive can run 24 reactions with different substrates under the intended reaction condition. Substrates will be considered promising as long as the desired product structure is observed from chemical analysis. For further optimization, users are advised scaling up the promising reactions to the platform of Single Vial Attachment or Carousel. Note that a high-yield desired reaction is not guaranteed on e-Hive platform. The product yield on e-Hive indicates the proneness of the desired transformation for each substrate. Users are advised planning their further experiments accordingly. The e-Hive package comes with stainless steel electrode outer (24 pcs.), graphite electrode inner (24 pcs.), and 24 mini stir bars. When the voltage value is set positive, inner electrode serves as anode and outer electrode serves as cathode. The polarity is opposite when the voltage value is set negative. Inner and outer electrodes made of different materials can also be purchased separately. Please email ElectraSynWeb@ika.net for your preferred electrode material and shape (inner / outer), if they are not listed on our website. e-Hive can be integrated with ElectraSyn 2.0 App, with the latest ElectraSyn 2.0 device software. Spare parts can be purchased on request. IKA e-Hive provides a 'Constant Voltage' (voltage max. = 25 V) screening platform with a maximum of 24 reactions simultaneously (no individual control). The IKA Screening System is perfectly suited for constant current electrosynthesis in “multibatch” mode. The package with 6 divided batch cells enables you to quickly carry out research on multiple electroconversions at the same time. In addition, you can combine the system with other equipment in the laboratory. Six divided cells can be operated in parallel within the Screening System, if double cells are used. These divided reaction cells consist of a reaction block, which requires separate electrode compartments. These are connected by a glass frit. Thus, an electrochemical reaction takes place, but the reaction liquids remain separate. That prevents the mixture of oxidized and reduced liquid. This is of particular interest if the product formed is not stable towards the counter electrode. - Up to 6 divided cells can be operated simultaneously and individually - Synthesize sufficient quantities for GC, LC or NMR analysis processes - Separate control and pre-set for each cell - Easy testing of identical or differing electrolysis runs - Fast identification of ideal process parameters - Digital recording of test parameters - Simultaneous mixing and heating - Full temperature control (PT 1000) using heat block - Control and automation via Labworldsoft 6.0 - Time and resources savings The IKA Screening System is perfectly suited for constant current electrosynthesis in “multibatch” mode. The IKA Screening System is perfectly suited for constant current electrosynthesis in “multibatch” mode. The package with 8 undivided batch cells enables you to quickly carry out research on multiple electroconversions at the same time. In addition, you can combine the system with other equipment in the laboratory. The usage of the single-cell screening system allows you to customize each reaction cell. The operator is able to individually pre-set an applied voltage of 0 – 32 V or 0 – 10 A current by using two voltage sources, each providing four outputs. Every reaction cell can be equipped with electrodes made of either different or the same electrode material. This depends strongly on the electro synthesis envisioned. All cells are arranged in a heating block that, if necessary, is heated up by a magnetic stirrer belonging to the scope of delivery. An external PT 1000 temperature sensor ensures the monitoring and control of the exact heating block temperature. - Up to 8 undivided cells can be operated simultaneously and individually - Synthesize sufficient quantities for GC, LC or NMR analysis processes - Separate control and pre-set for each cell - Easy testing of identical or differing electrolysis runs - Fast identification of ideal process parameters - Digital recording of test parameters - Simultaneous mixing and heating - Full temperature control (PT 1000) using heat block - Control and automation via Labworldsoft 6.0 - Time and resources savings The IKA Screening System is perfectly suited for constant current electrosynthesis in “multibatch” mode.
