Desiccant bags - silica gel white Silica Gel Desiccant Bags, White - compact protection with high efficiency! The desiccant bags containing white silica gel provide reliable protection against moisture. In combination with a highly absorbent, heat-sealed Tyvek ® - pouch, they ensure efficient moisture control, particularly at relative humidities above 50 % RH. The Tyvek ® - pouch made from spun polyolefin fibres is extremely durable, dust-tight and lint-free. This makes the desiccant bags especially suitable for use in pharmaceutical and diagnostic applications as well as in sensitive technical environments. The surface of the Tyvek ® - desiccant bags is highly abrasion-resistant, and the standard printing complies with the requirements of the European Union (Regulation EC No. 450/2009) and includes the warning “not edible” in German, English, French and Spanish. Regulatory compliance and quality The silica gel used complies with:• the requirements of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for food contact (including 21 CFR 174.5, 177.200, 182.1711)• the requirements of the European Union for food contact in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 The Tyvek ® pouch material of the white silica gel desiccant bags complies with:• FDA requirements for polyolefins (21 CFR 177.1520) and additives (21 CFR 178.2010)• the requirements of EU Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 on materials intended for contact with food The printing ink used for the white silica gel desiccant bags:• complies with FDA requirements (21 CFR 73, 74 Subpart A)• is registered with the FDA in a Drug Master File (DMF Type IV)
