The temperature gauge consist of a thermoelement with iron-copper-nickel thermocouple. The thermoelement is sealed in a protective pipe made of stainless steel 1.4541. It records the temperature directly inside the autoclave and transfers the values to the WRT 2000x temperature controller. The unit displays the relevant temperature value and controls the performance of the heating mantle. Only the pure silver gaskets supplied should be used for sealing, as too frequent insertion and removal of the seals could unnecessarily reduce the service life of the sensor.
