ROTI ® Fect CELLPURE ® ready-to-use, for transfection ROTI ® Fect is a liposome-based transfection reagent consisting of a mixture of polycationic and neutral lipids. Compared to monocationic lipid formulations, ROTI ® Fect has a higher efficiency with lower levels being required. Its excellent reproducibility in combination with its high level of efficiency reduced optimisation work to a minimum. Because of its low toxicity, a wide range of cell lines can be transfected efficiently. An efficient triple-cotransfection using ROTI ® Fect is described in Ufartes, Schlüter, Kaulfuss and Seipp (2005) Biospektrum 4: 464-5. Data of cells transfected with ROTI ® Fect was set to 100 %.
