ROTI ® Prep DNA & RNA Mini for molecular biology ROTI ® Prep DNA & RNA was developed to isolate both DNA and RNA separately from only one sample. The isolation is based on the lysis of a starting sample, the lysate of which is first filtered through a centrifugation column, to the membrane of which the DNA is bound. The filtrate is then transferred to a second centrifugation column, which binds the RNA. The bound DNA and RNA are washed separately in the following steps and collected in separate reaction vessels at the end. Ethanol 99.8 % (p.a., Art. no. 9065), TE buffer (Art. no. 1052.1) and lysozyme (Art. no. 8259.1) are not included in the kit and should be ordered separately if required.
