Developed for demanding processing applications, the Compactdry™ Ec, 240 Unit(S) offers a reliable solution for microbiological analysis of various samples such as foods, feeds, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. This compact, anhydrous nutrient plate features a phosphate-buffered, rich medium with peptone and yeast extract as its nutrient base, enhanced with tryptophan for E. coli detection, NaCl, pyruvate, and cholates. The medium's unique composition includes color substrates for β-D-glucuronidase (blue/cyan/violet) and β-D-galactosidase (salmon/magenta/red), enabling easy interpretation of colony growth. The plates are easy to handle, store at room temperature, and can be used on-site, making them ideal for hygiene
