Compact documentation system for Western blot imaging . The chemiLITE compact documentation system has been optimised to detect chemiluminescence signals of labelled target proteins on Western blot membranes and therefore serves as a replacement for an X-ray film. The chemiLITE system is equipped with a Peltier-cooled CCD camera that reacts very sensitively to weak light signals, so that even small protein amounts in the pico- or femtogram range can be properly visualised. With the help of the genePIX acquisition software, the appropriate settings for the acquisition of high-resolution images can be set quickly. The analysis software geneQUANT then enables the evaluation of the blot and the quantification of the target protein. General properties: Suitable for Western blots up to 11 x 8 cm Peltier-cooled CCD camera (-56 °C) White light for blot positioning Acquisition software: genePIX Image Capture Analysis software: geneQUANT Image Analysis Image storage formats: TIFF, GLP-compliant format Chemiluminescence documentation system chemiLITE Not a medical device / Not an IVD product chemiLITE system with genePIX acquisition software and geneQUANT analysis software.
