Material: DURAN ® glass. Application: Fill apparatus with silicone oil. Insert a melting point capillary (outside-Ø max. 2 mm) into one of the side tubes so that the molten end touches the ball of the thermometer. The other side tube serves for venting. In the case of apparatus without side tubes, a long capillary is inserted from above; venting must also take place from above in this case.
