These discs contain nystatin with an activity of 100 units each, as indicated by the "NS 100" markings on both sides. Ideal for use with Mueller-Hinton agar, they are stored at -20°C. When used in conjunction with a suitable bacterial or fungal culture, these discs facilitate the determination of the organism's sensitivity to nystatin through the measurement of the inhibition zone formed around the disc during incubation.
