Sterile Hybridoma cells are cells that result from the fusion of B lymphocytes and myeloma cells. The outcome is immortal cells capable of producing novel antibodies. The ROTI ® Cell media and supplements for hybridoma cell cultures are suitable for nearly all systems and provide optimal conditions for the development and production of various antibodies. ROTI ® Cell Hybridoma Medium CELLPURE ® sterile, w/o glutamine, w/o phenol red ROTI ® Cell Hybridoma medium is a serum-free medium that is free from animal-derived components, proteins, and any factors that could interfere with the downstream process and the purity of the final product. The medium supports the growth of hybridoma and myeloma cells for antibody production. It can be used both as a serum-free medium and supplemented with serum. In the case of cholesterol-dependent cell lines, the ROTI ® Cell Hybridoma Supplement should additionally be used. The medium does not contain: L-glutamine, phenol red, insulin, transferrin.
