Giemsa solution ROTI ® HistoGreen alcohol-free, ready-to-use , for microscopy The ROTI ® HistoGreen Giemsa solution is an alcohol-free staining solution for blood and bone marrow smears. Either ROTI ® SmearFix or methanol can be used for the fixation of the smears. Please note Blood smears should always be prepared from fresh blood samples. ROTI ® HistoGreen staining solutions are ready-to-use and do not need to be filtered before use! Application: Preparation of an air-dried and fixed smear Incubation in Giemsa solution for 2 min Incubation in Giemsa solution (1:5 diluted) for 6 min Rinse 2x with buffer solution acc. to Weise for 30 s each Air-drying of stained smear Not a medical device / Not an IVD product
