Engineered for consistent performance, Brilliant Cresyl Blue Solution is designed specifically for staining methods used in blood smear analysis. This solution is applied to an anticoagulated blood sample, which is then mixed and incubated for approximately 30 minutes at room temperature. Following this process, thin smears are prepared, allowing for the analysis of reticulocytes under a microscope. The reticulocytes appear as a dark blue network or punctate, while other blood cells exhibit a weaker blue to weak green hue. It's important to note that Brilliant Cresyl Blue Solution is not a medical device nor an In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) product. For optimal storage, keep it between 15 to 25°C.
