Vanadium pentoxide is soluble in acid concentrates but not very soluble in water.
Vanadium pentoxide is used as a catalyst for the production of sulphuric and adipic acid. Vanadium pentoxide is used as a raw material for the production of ceramic pigments and frits and for coloration/decoloration of glass.
Vanadium pentoxide may cause harm to the unborn child; it is toxic, in fact, in case of prolonged exposure by inhalation may cause serious damage to the health; it is irritating to the respiratory system.
