The radioimmunoprecipitation buffer, also known as RIPA buffer, is one of the most reliable cell lysis buffers for fast and efficient lysis of mammalian cells from adhesion or suspension cultures. It enables the extraction and solubilization of proteins from the membrane, the cell nucleus and the cytoplasm. All the advantages at a glance: Extraction of proteins from numerous cell types Efficient cell lysis and solubilization of proteins Protein degradation is prevented No interference with most antibodies and protein antigens Minimizes non-specific protein binding interactions Compatible with many applications, including reporter assays, protein assays, immunoassays and protein purifications RIPA Buffer 1x conc., ready-to-use, for protein extraction Not a medical device / Not an IVD product

Papain ≥6 000 USP-U/mg, Reag. Ph. Eur., lyophilized A non-specific endopeptidase from Papaya latex. Has a very wide substrate range and cleaves proteins more efficiently than trypsin, for example. Is capable of not only hydrolysing peptide bonds, but also acts effectively as an esterase and thiol-esterase. Unit definition 6.000 USP (Casein) Units is approx. 0,5 FIP-Units (BAEE-Units). One USP Unit of Papain activity releases the equivalent of 1 µg tyrosine form a specified casein substrate under assay conditions specified by the USP. Directions for use Working concentration: Dilution immediately before application in a buffer with approx. 5 mM L-Cysteine pH optimum: 6.0 Temperature optimum: 65 °C Activation and stabilization: EDTA, Cysteine and Dimercaptopropanol. DTT may be added in orderto increase activity. Not a medical device / Not an IVD product
