Applied in sectors ranging from fine chemicals to process chemistry, the Filter Units Millex ® PES offer a versatile solution for sterile filtration needs. Featuring a Millex ® -GP type, these filter units come equipped with a 50mm PES membrane and a sterile pore size of 0.22 µm. The housing material is MBS, while the inlet and outlet connections utilize stepped tube connections with internal Luer Cones (Ø 6-13 mm). The filter units have a filtration area of 19.6 cm² and can handle sample volumes up to ~4000 ml. The maximum operating pressure is 3.4 bar, and the filter units can operate at temperatures up to 45°C. With a dead volume of less than 1000 µl, these filter units minimize waste and ensure efficient filtration of cell culture media and other aqueous solutions. Optional filling bells are available to further reduce the risk of contamination during the filtration process.
