Designed with efficiency in synthetic processes in mind, the Hplc Column Nucleodur ® PFP, 5 μm, 250 mm, 3 mm features a pentafluorophenyl-propyl modification on high purity NUCLEODUR ® silica gel. This hydrophobic phase offers an alternative selectivity compared to traditional C 18 modifications. With a specific surface area of 340 m²/g, it provides four retention mechanisms including polar interactions (H bonds), dipole-dipole interactions, π-π interactions, and hydrophobic interactions.
