Magigoo Pro PP for polypropylene filaments Application Magigoo PP 3D glue stick is designed for professional use to work exclusively with polypropylene filaments. The part should be relatively easy to remove after cooling and the adhesive residue should also be easy to remove if the supplied procedure is followed. WHY: Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic semi-crystalline polymer with properties such as good impact resistance and ductility. It also has a relatively non-polar molecular structure which makes it chemically resistant, making it ideal for use in food packaging and medical devices. Indeed, it is well known in the adhesives industry that it is difficult to bond polyolefin materials to other types of materials. This combined with its partial crystallinity makes it a particularly hard material to print on. Magigoo PP solves this problem and offers additional convenience for use in FDM 3D printing. HOW: Magigoo PP has been developed and tested to work with various PP filament brands. Application: Shake the bottle vigorously. Apply to the desired area by pressing the nib onto the bed (activating the inner valve) and spreading as required. Print according to the filament/printer manufacturer’s recommendations Allow to cool and remove. Cleaning - Wipe with a damp cloth. Directions for use SAFETY: This adhesive is intended for professional use. Contact with eyes will cause serious eye damage, wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after handling. Tips: For larger prints, a 20 mm brim with multiple layers is recommended. In case of excessive adhesion, it is recommended to wet the print bed with a small amount of water and work it slowly under the part, which should facilitate the removal of the part."

Magigoo Pro HT for high-temperature materials such as PEEK, Ultem and PPSU Application Magigoo Pro HT is designed for professional use to work at high printing temperatures. The part should be relatively easy to remove after cooling and the adhesive residue should also be easy to remove. WHY: High-temperature materials such as PEEK are advanced engineering thermoplastics that offer improved mechanical and chemical stability at higher temperatures compared to conventional thermoplastics. Other materials include PEKK, Ultem and PPSU and their carbon fibre reinforced counterparts. Due to their high temperature and other exceptional properties, these materials are in high demand in high temperature and high performance applications such as in the automotive and aerospace industries. In addition, these materials are also in demand in the chemical, petrochemical, medical and research industries. High temperature filaments prove to be challenging materials for FDM printing due to their higher tendency to warp. Due to their high-temperature properties, these materials are usually printed at elevated temperatures. Magigoo Pro HT is a specialised solution for FDM printing of PEEK filaments designed for use at elevated printing temperatures. HOW: Magigoo Pro HT has been developed and tested to work at anode temperatures of 150 °C or lower. Directions for use Use of this product with non-PEEK filaments may cause over-adhesion and damage the surface of your building. Follow the instructions in the technical data sheet for best results.

Magigoo Pro PA for polyamide (nylon) filaments Application Magigoo Pro PA - The 3D printing adhesive for polyamide (nylon), is designed for professional use to work with polyamide filaments. The part should be relatively easy to remove after cooling and the adhesive residue should also be easy to remove. WHY: PA (polyamide) describes a group of polymers with an amide repeating unit. In general, there are 3 main types of PA in the FDM industry, including PA12, PA66 and PA6. Sometimes these materials can either be refined with other polymers or reinforced with glass or carbon fibres. In general, nylon fibres exhibit high strength, toughness, elasticity, wear resistance, chemical resistance and thermal resistance and are widely used in various industrial applications. Nylon filaments prove to be challenging materials for FDM printing due to their lower density, adhesion to conventional 3D printing build surfaces and their higher tendency to warp. In addition, there are several classes of PA filaments, each of which behave differently. Magigoo Pro PA is a specialised solution for FDM printing of PA filaments that has beendeveloped to work with a variety of PA types." Application: Shake the bottle vigorously. Apply to the desired area by pressing the nib onto the bed (activating the inner valve) and spreading as required. Print according to the filament/printer manufacturer’s recommendations Allow to cool and remove. Cleaning - Wipe with a damp cloth.

Magigoo for polycarbonate filaments Application Magigoo PC 3D glue stick is designed to work exclusively with polycarbonate type filaments. This professional-grade adhesive ensures that prints adhere firmly when the print bed is hot and the part is easy to remove once it has cooled. This unique and innovative mechanism means that no tools are required to remove prints from the bed. They simply pop off when the bed cools down. WHY: The strength and toughness of PC make it an ideal FDM material for the production of functional prototypes and end-use parts, yet the material presents some printing challenges. Virgin PC has a high glass transition temperature (Tg) and can therefore be used in high temperature applications. However, a high Tg value can make it very difficult to print with desktop printers, as these are not usually equipped for the high printing temperatures required for printing virgin PC. Virgin PC actually tends to warp significantly when printed at an inadequate bed temperature (<130 ºC) in unheated closed chambers without the use of a suitable bed adhesive. Some manufacturers have improved the printability of PC by using plasticisers or blending it with other materials. However, there are still some difficulties to be considered when using these solutions, firstly adhesion can still be a problem, especially on larger parts. In addition, some bed adhesion sheets have been proposed to avoid the warping that occurs with larger prints, but in this case there is a high tendency for the adhesive sheet material used to fuse irreversibly with the print. This means that the expensive sheet has to be removed very often and also requires a lot of post-processing and cleaning. Magigoo PC can be used on glass or several other surfaces. Use on other plastic-based surfaces, including plates, is recommended to ensure strong adhesion and prevent the part from fusing to the plate. HOW: Magigoo PC has been developed and tested to work with various PC filament brands. As the composition of each plastic is slightly different, the ideal settings for Magigoo PC may vary. Directions for use SAFETY: Using this product with filaments other than PC filaments may cause over-adhesion and damage the build surface. Tips: For larger prints, a 20 mm brim with multiple layers is recommended. In case of excessive adhesion, it is recommended to wet the print bed with a small amount of water and work it slowly under the part, which should facilitate the removal of the part.

Magigoo Pro PP-GF for glass-reinforced polypropylene (GFPP) filaments Application Magigoo PP-GF 3D glue stick has been specially developed for processing glass-reinforced polypropylene (GFPP) filaments and ensures that the prints adhere firmly when the print bed is hot and that the part is easy to remove after cooling. WHY: Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic semi-crystalline polymer with properties such as good strength, impact resistance and ductility, which makes it suitable for use as a construction material. However, PP is a soft material and, like most plastics, can be reinforced by the introduction of fibres to form a polymer composite. These materials are usually stiffer and stronger than the base polymer and can result in a material with a very high strength to weight ratio. Compared to most pure PP filaments, the GF30PP deforms more. This type of material requires a completely new adhesive formulation to develop its distinctive properties. HOW: Magigoo PP-GF has been developed and tested to work with 30% glass fibre filled polypropylene. Directions for use For demanding prints, a 20 mm brim with 2 layers is recommended. Clean the build plate and align it well before printing. A closed printer is recommended. Print speed 20-55mm.

Magigoo provides strong adhesion to the heating plate. But the magic begins when the print is finished: simply wait until the plate has cooled down and then remove your prints with just one tap! In addition, Magigoo helps prevent warping. Isn't it magical? Regardless of whether you are a hobbyist or a professional - it is extremely rewarding to have a 30-hour print completely without warping and to be able to easily remove it after cooling down. We have even had very good results with PEEK and ULTEM. Advantages: Over 100 applications ABS, PLA, PETG, HIPS, ASA, TPU Simple application Easy to remove Easy to clean No odour Non-toxic No additional tools required Easy to transport More beautiful print image Directions for use Easy to use: Using Magigoo is very easy. Shake, press, apply. Spread only on an active print area. It is not necessary to cover the entire surface. Easy to release: The adhesive properties of Magigoo are designed to release the 3D print as soon as the build plate has cooled down. Easy to clean: Magigoo is easy to clean with water. Durable: Magigoo lasts for more than 100 average prints. Odourless and safe: Magigoo is safe to use - whether in a closed room or in a training workshop with children. Important note: The applicator has an active spring valve that is activated when the applicator is pressed against the build plate. Please do not press the bottle as a “ketchup bottle”, otherwise the applicator may pop off. The bottle can be squeezed slightly, only when the spring is pressed against the bed and only if a larger flow is required. The bottle must not be squeezed if the cap is opened at any other time as this may cause adhesive to leak from the bottle.

Magigoo Pro FLEX for thermoplastic rubbers (TPU, TPE, TPC) Application Magigoo Pro Flex is designed for professional use to work exclusively with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), TPE (thermoplastic elastomer and TPC (thermoplastic copolyester) filaments. The part should be relatively easy to remove after cooling and the adhesive residue should also be easy to remove. WHY: TPUs, TPEs/TPCs describe a group of polymers sometimes referred to as thermoplastic rubbers. Thermoplastic rubbers exist as co-polymers or a polymer blend, usually of a plastic and a rubber. This gives them both thermoplastic and elastomeric properties. As a result, these materials have the advantage that they can stretch to medium elongations and return to their original shape. In addition, these materials have very good thermal properties, material stability, chemical resistance and are cheaper to produce. As a result, these materials are in high demand in industrial applications. Some flexible filaments have lower adhesion to conventional 3D printing build surfaces and a high tendency to warp. Others tend to adhere too well to bare 3D printing surfaces such as glass and PEI. Magigoo Pro Flex is a specialised solution for FDM printing of flexible filaments, designed to work with a wide range of flexible filament types. Magigoo Pro Flex acts as an intermediate layer between the build plate and the printed part, enabling good adhesion and facilitating the removal of prints when required. HOW: Magigoo Pro Flex has been developed and tested to work with a variety of flexible filament brands. Directions for use SAFETY: Using this product with anything other than flexible filaments may cause over-adhesion and damage your build surface. Tips: A 20mm margin is recommended for larger prints and high shrink rate filaments. In case of excessive adhesion, it is recommended to wet the print bed with a small amount of water and work it slowly under the part to facilitate the removal of the part.
