In addition, these modern cocktails show even higher scintillation efficiency and higher sample holding capacity. ROTISZINT ® cocktails are also pleasant to use due to their high flash point. ROTISZINT ® scintillation cocktails may be used in all biological, biochemical and chemical areas. Typical applications are, for instance, the measurement of cell culture supernatants, routine analysis, enzymatic or flow-count assays in the field of research, development or analytics. The cocktails are according to Directive 2003/53/ECC of the European Parliament and Council Directions for use Wide excitation range between 190 and 370 nm Emission maximum : 420-430 nm Our modern ROTISZINT ® cocktails contain the same reagents as primary and secondary scintillators that were used in ROTISZINT ® Eco plus. Thus, neither the excitation nor the detection wavelength change for the application. We also recommend to use the same scintillation protocol in the first approaches with one of the new ROTISZINT ® cocktails as was previously used with the ROTISZINT ® Eco plus (0016) cocktail. In many cases, the parameters are directly transferable. If the scintillation results are not satisfactory at first, the sample quantity (the ratio sample/cocktail) can be readjusted. ROTISZINT ® Routine ROTISZINT ® ready-to-use, NPE free, for scintillation Safe and easy-to-use scintillation cocktail for a wide range of applications. ROTISZINT ® Routine has a good sample uptake capacity for all aqueous samples and is suitable for solutions with high ionic strength. NPE free, non-carcinogenic High counting efficiency Low photo- and chemoluminescence Very good colour- and chemical quench resistance Virtually odor- and colourless High flash point No permeation through plastic vials For some solvents, such as 0.3 M HNO 3 , the sample uptake capacity is up to 5 ml / 10 ml cocktail. For most common as well as for higher concentrated solutions (for example 0.1 M ammonium citrate, 0.1 M EDTA or 2 M HNO 3 ) the maximum sample volume is 2 to 3.5 ml / 10 ml cocktail. Application Excellent for measuring solutions. For the measurement of filter samples we recommend the use of ROTISZINT ® Filter. We recommend the use of ROTILABO ® Dispensers.
