Sourced to meet strict specifications in technical applications, the Culture Plug Silicosen ®, T15, 11 Mm offers an ideal solution for preparing and sterilizing culture media, as well as for cultivating aerobic micro-organisms. Its unique structure with regularly spaced pores ensures good air permeability while minimizing evaporation, making it suitable for cultures in long-term tests. This pink culture plug, measuring 20 mm in length with an 11 mm lower diameter and a 15 mm upper diameter, can be washed and reused, and can even be dry sterilized up to 180 °C. Its low moisture evaporation further reduces the drying out of cultures.
