Developed to align with modern chemical standards, the ROTI® Antibiotic Discs Vancomycin (Va) are specifically designed for bacterial sensitivity testing via in vitro diffusion methods. These discs, containing 30 µg of vancomycin each, are applied to Mueller-Hinton agar plates seeded with a 1x10^6 - 5x10^6 cfu/ml bacterial culture. Following incubation, the inhibition zone's diameter around the discs serves as an indicator of the culture's sensitivity to the antibiotic.
