Their material properties meet standards set forth in ASTM D 1922 (propagation tear resistance) and ASTM D 1709 (puncture resistance). These bags feature a sterilization indicator patch that changes color upon autoclaving, providing visual confirmation of proper sterilization. Additionally, they bear a "Biohazard" warning symbol and are labeled in four languages: German, English, French, and Spanish. They are compatible with the disposal bag stand KN74.1.1ff.
