This sterile solution simplifies and expedites the production of competent E. coli cells, enabling up to 500 transformations. With a transformation efficiency ranging from 5 x 10^5 to 1 x 10^6 colonies per μg DNA, it offers flexibility in strain selection while ensuring effectiveness. The kit includes Roti ® Transform 1 and Roti ® Transform 2, each stored separately for optimal performance. For short-term storage, reagent 1 can be kept at 4°C, while both components should be stored long-term at -20°C when not in use.
