Formulated to support synthetic operations, Roti ® Cell Myco-Free is a sterile, ready-to-use antibiotic solution stored at -20°C. This potent reagent, composed of a select mix of antibiotics in Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS), effectively eliminates mycoplasmas and bacteria from cell cultures without affecting eukaryotic cells. Its efficacy stems from its ability to interact specifically with prokaryotic protein biosynthesis, inhibiting translation and transcription complexes such as gyrase. Dilute the Roti ® Cell Myco-Free stock solution 1:50 in culture media to ensure reliable and efficient eradication of contaminants.
