Recommended for applications requiring controlled solvent behavior, the Blotting Unit, Dot Blotter offers robust acrylic construction and precision lapped mating surfaces to prevent sample leakage during DNA, RNA, and immunological antibody screening methods. This blotting unit accommodates up to 96 samples in its 12x8 pockets, each capable of holding ~180 μl. For optimal performance, it's recommended to pair this unit with a Diaphragm vacuum pump like the LABOPORT ® speed-controlled N 96, along with compatible hoses such as ROTILABO ® Vacuum silicone hose or ROTILABO ® Vacuum rubber hose. The delivery includes a template for cutting filter membranes, but the pump and hoses must be purchased separately.
