This centrifugation-based extraction kit offers a preparation time of approximately 20 minutes per sample (excluding lysis), yielding 20–35 micrograms of DNA with a typical purity of 1.7–1.9 as measured by A260/A280 ratio. The kit requires storage between 15 to 25 degrees Celsius and can process samples with a quantity of less than 25 milligrams of human or animal tissue, or 10² to 10⁷ cultured cells.
