ROTI ® Prep Plant DNA, 10 preparations

Built to deliver predictable results in synthesis routines, the Roti ® Prep Plant DNA falls under centrifugation-based extraction kits. This version is specifically designed for mini preparations, catering to a wide range of plant materials, from wet weights of 120–180 mg to dry weights of 50–100 mg. The process begins with homogenising the plant material before extraction, either using a ROTI ® SampleLyse tube or a mortar and pestle. After homogenisation, the material is treated with one of the included lysis buffers. The typical yield ranges from 1-25 μg, and the elution volume is between 100-200 µl. The resulting DNA exhibits a typical purity (A260/A280) of 1.7-2.0. Store this kit at temperatures between +15 to +25 °C.
