Distinguished by its well-documented behavior in regulated processes, the Roti ® Prep DNA & RNA Mini is a versatile centrifugation-based extraction kit designed for isolating both DNA and RNA from various sources. Suitable for microbial cell cultures, fungi, eukaryotic cell cultures, and tissue samples, this mini prep version offers a typical yield of 40 μg for DNA and 60 μg for RNA. The elution volumes for DNA and RNA are 100 μl and 30-80 μl, respectively. With a preparation time ranging between 15-40 minutes, depending on the source material, and a storage temperature of +15 to +25 °C, this kit ensures efficient and reliable results in a relatively short period. The typical purity of the isolated DNA and RNA, as indicated by the A260/A280 ratio, is 1.7-2.0 and 1.8-2.1, respectively.
