Its compact design, featuring a 47mm diameter and 20cm² growth surface, allows for easy handling and interpretation due to its chromogenic additives and 1x1cm grid system. The nutrient medium used, derived from an enriched version of the Potato Extract Glucose Agar, supports the growth of yeast colonies which exhibit a distinctive bright blue color, while moulds grow in their natural, three-dimensional structure accompanied by characteristic coloring. This product is AOAC-, MicroVal-, and NordVal-certified, ensuring reliable results in your lab operations.
