ROTI ® Fix spray fixative

Manufactured to meet research and production requirements, the Roti Fix Spray Fixative is a crucial component in the field of histology and microscopy, particularly for cytological smears. Its ready-to-use formula ensures immediate fixing of specimens to prevent artifacts, a critical step in maintaining sample integrity. The application process involves spraying the solution three times from a distance of 15-20 cm onto the still-moist specimen. Following rehydration via a descending alcohol series, the samples can then be stained conventionally, such as through Papanicolaou staining. Additional technical details include a density of 0.79 g/cm³, a flash point of 12 °C, and a boiling point of 78 °C.
