Sterile ROTI ® Cell Potassium chloride solution (KCl) CELLPURE ® 0.075 M, sterile Potassium chloride solution is a hypotonic solution used in cytogenetics for the expansion and lysis of cells. Its hypotonic properties enable optimal distribution of metaphase chromosomes during karyotyping. It is widely used, especially in the analysis and classification of chromosomes as well as in fluorescence in situ hybridization.
