Characterized by well-defined physical properties suited for technical use, the APIEZON ® W 100 Wax offers exceptional performance in applications requiring high-vacuum sealing and excellent gettering properties. With a Melting Point between 50-60°C and a density of 1,025 g/cm³, this wax exhibits a low vapour pressure, making it ideal for use in a wide range of temperatures, from -10°C to 45°C. Its resistance to acids such as hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, and acetic acid, combined with its ability to be removed using hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons, further enhances its versatility.
