The thumb stop integrated within the handle prevents accidental sponge contact during usage, while its suitability for sampling in hard-to-reach areas like gaps, drains, and pipes adds versatility to its application. Whether dry or pre-moistened with 10 ml buffer, this sponge is compatible with various media such as Buffered Peptone Water, Letheen Bouillon, Dey-Engley Neutralising Medium, and Neutralization Buffer, catering to diverse testing requirements.
