Manufactured to meet research and production requirements, these Spe Polypropylene Columns Roti ® X Bond Wax are designed specifically for ion exchange in solid phase extraction (SPE), falling under the category of ion exchangers for the SPE. These open tubular syringe-shaped columns with Luer tip outlets feature fully porous particles (FPP) of 40 μm, a specific surface area of 600 m²/g, and a pore size of 300 Å. Filled with 150 mg of a hydrophobic spherical polystyrene-divinylbenzene copolymer (PS/DVB) with secondary and tertiary ammonium modification, they function as a weak mixed mode anion exchanger (WAX), ideal for the enrichment of strongly acidic analytes (pKa <1). Recommended

  • Category: Ion exchangers for the SPE
  • Recommended application(s): strong acids with pK a <1 like sulphonates Determination of strong acidic pollutants such as perfluorinated carboxylic acids in environment and water acidic active ingredients from strongly matrix-contaminated samples like e.g. urine, plasma, serum
