Built to deliver predictable results in synthesis routines, Spe Polypropylene Columns Roti ® X Bond Max come packaged in sets of 10 x 5 units, each containing 3 ml columns filled with 60 mg of a hydrophobic spherical polystyrene-divinylbenzene copolymer (PS/DVB) with quaternary ammonium modification, forming a very strong mixed mode anion exchanger (MAX). These open tubular syringe-shaped columns with Luer tip outlets offer a specific surface area of 300 m²/g as per BET, making them ideal for the separation and purification of acidic active ingredients from strongly matrix-contaminated samples such as urine, plasma, serum, phenolic acids, and acidic herbicides.
