This open tubular syringe-shaped column features an hydrophobic spherical polystyrene-divinylbenzene copolymer (PS/DVB) with carboxylic acid modification, making it a weak mixed mode cation exchanger (WCX) suitable for the enrichment of strong basic analytes (pKa >10), such as those commonly found in urine, plasma, serum, and other matrix-contaminated samples. With a specific surface area of 850 m²/g according to BET, this column offers excellent separation performance and high reproducibility.
