Manufactured to meet research and production requirements, the Hplc Guard Columns (Nucleodur ® C 18 PAH) are designed as pre-columns for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). With a particle size of 3 μm, a pore size of 100 Å, and a specific surface area of 350 m²/g according to BET, these guard columns offer excellent separation efficiency. The fully porous particles (FPP) ensure a large pore volume of 0.9 ml/g, providing ample space for analyte adsorption. The reversed-phase (RP) separation principle, combined with the special octadecyl (C 18 , ODS) modification, ensures effective retention of various organic compounds. The guard columns are end-capped, ensuring stable performance under pressure up to 400 bar.
