Formulated to support synthetic operations, the ROTI® Antibiotic Discs Novobiocin (Nv) serve as essential tools in microbiology labs. These discs, containing 30 μg of novobiocin each, are used for determining bacterial or fungal sensitivity to antimicrobial agents via in vitro diffusion methods. Stored at -20°C, these discs are applied to Mueller-Hinton agar plates, following which the growth inhibition zones around them indicate the organism's susceptibility to the antibiotic. Not intended for use as a medical device or IVD product.
