Designed with efficiency in synthetic processes in mind, the HPLC Column Nucleodur® C 18 Pyramid offers a unique solution for separating very polar compounds such as pharmaceutical raw materials, organic acids, penicillin antibiotics, and water-soluble vitamins. Its fully porous particles (FPP), 3 μm particle size, and 1.25 ml column volume ensure high pressure stability up to 600 bar and temperature resistance up to 60°C. The polar endcapping makes this C 18 phase suitable for aqueous eluents, making it ideal for applications requiring 100% aqueous eluents. This HPLC column is compatible with reversed phase (RP) separation principles and features hydrophobic and polar interactions (H bonds) for optimal retention mechanisms.
