Designed for professional use, the Hplc Column Nucleodur® PFP, 5 μm, 50 mm, 2 mm offers versatile applications in liquid chromatography (LC, HPLC). This reversed phase (RP) column features a pentafluorophenylpropyl (PFP) modified silica gel phase that provides an alternative selectivity compared to traditional C18 modifications. Its four retention mechanisms – polar interactions (H bonds), dipole-dipole interactions, π-π interactions, and hydrophobic interactions – make it suitable for separating aromatic and unsaturated compounds, basic compounds, halogenated compounds, isomers, pharmaceutical products, phenols, and especially polar compounds. Additionally, its low bleeding characteristics render it ideal for LC/MS applications. The column comes equipped with a particle size of 5
