Developed for demanding processing applications, the Spe Polypropylene Column Chromabond ® Abc18 is designed for the clean-up of acrylamide from ultra-heated starch-containing food, such as potato chips, french fries, crispbread, and cereals. This open tubular syringe-shaped column with Luer tip outlet features a special octadecyl (C18, RP18, ODS) silica phase with ion exchange (IEX) functions, housed within PP columns with PE filter elements. The column offers a column volume of 6 ml, particle size of 45 µm, and pore size of 60 Å, making it suitable for diverse separation principles. The recommended storage temperature is RT, and it can be found in the Application Database (Macherey-Nagel) under SPE HPLC. Available in packs of 6 x 5 units.
