Established as a dependable compound in analytical and synthetic chemistry, the Syringe Filters Chromafil ® Xtra Pvdf, 0.2 µm, offers exceptional performance for non-sterile filtration of liquids or gases, as well as sample preparation for various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, ICP, AAS, TOC, DOC, IR, NMR, photometry, spectroscopy, method validation, and certification. With a pore size of 0.2 µm, this filter ensures efficient particle retention while maintaining a low dead volume of approximately 80 μl. The filter housing, made of polypropylene (PP), provides good chemical resistance, minimal extractable substances content, and low bleeding. The filter features a 30 mm diameter housing and a 25 mm membrane, compatible with sample volumes ranging from 5 to 100 ml. It comes equipped with Luer lock and Luer connectors for secure inlet and outlet connections, respectively. The maximum operating pressure for this filter is 12 bar, and it can withstand temperatures up to 55°C.
