Developed to align with modern chemical standards, the Syringe Filters Chromafil® Ptfe, 0.45 µm, 15 mm, 100 Units serve as an essential tool for compact filtration of liquids or gases, as well as for sample preparation prior to various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, ICP, AAS, TOC, DOC, IR, NMR, photometry, spectroscopy, etc. These non-sterile syringe filters boast a compacted polypropylene (PP) housing with minimal extractable substances and excellent chemical resistance. They are autoclavable at 121°C and 1.1 bar for 30 minutes, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. With a pore size of 0.45 µm, these filters offer a filtration area of 1.6 cm², accommodating sample volumes between 1–5 ml. The hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane ensures efficient filtration while maintaining a dead volume of approximately 35 µl. The filters feature Luer lock and Mini-Spike connections for easy integration into various systems.
