Prepared for use in regulated laboratory conditions, the Syringe Filters Minisart ® NML Sterile (ETO-sterilised), 0.65 µm, belong to the category of syringe filters. These filters feature a sterile hydrophilic membrane made of cellulose acetate (CA) with a pore size of 0.65 µm, housed in a 33 mm diameter MBS material component. The membrane has a filtration area of 6.2 cm² and is color-coded pink for easy identification. It comes equipped with Luer-Lock inlet and male Luer slip outlet connections, capable of withstanding a maximum operating pressure of 4.5 bar. This filter is designed for aqueous solutions and oils within a pH range of 4 to 8, offering low non-specific binding properties while being free of surfactants, PVC, and phthalates. However, it exhibits limited compatibility with alcohols due to its surfactant-free nature. Despite this, the Minisart ® NML Sterile filter minimizes extractables and leachables, making it suitable for various applications within the lab environment.
