Supplied in laboratory-grade packaging suitable for direct use, the Syringe Filters Chromafil ® Xtra Pet, 0.45 µm, are designed for non-sterile filtration of liquids or gases, as well as for sample preparation for various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, ICP, AAS, TOC, DOC, IR, NMR, photometry, spectroscopy, method validation, and certification. With a pore size of 0.45 µm, these filters offer efficient particle retention while maintaining a relatively low dead volume of approximately 80 µl. The filters feature a 30 mm diameter housing made of polypropylene (PP), which provides good chemical resistance, low extractable substances content, and minimal bleeding. The membrane, composed of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), offers a filtration area of 4.9 cm² and can accommodate sample volumes ranging from 5 to 100 ml. The filters are equipped with Luer lock connectors at both the inlet and outlet, ensuring secure and easy connections during use. The maximum operating pressure for these filters is 12 bar, and they can withstand temperatures up to 55 °C.
