Characterized by well-defined physical properties suited for technical use, the Syringe Filters Chromafil ® Pa, 0.45 µm, 25 mm, 400 Units are designed for non-sterile filtration of liquids or gases, as well as for sample preparation for various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, ICP, AAS, TOC, DOC, IR, NMR, photometry, spectroscopy, etc. The compact PP housing exhibits low extractable substances content and good chemical resistance, making it suitable for autoclaving at 121 °C and 1.1 bar for 30 minutes. With a pore size of 0.45 µm, these syringe filters offer a filtration area of 4.9 cm² and can handle sample volumes ranging from 5–100 ml. The membrane, made of nylon, features a diameter of 25 mm, while the dead volume is approximately 80 µl. These filters are equipped with Luer lock connectors for the inlet and Luer connections for the outlet. The maximum operating pressure is 6 bar, and the maximum application temperature is 55 °C.
