Noted for its role as an intermediate in complex synthesis pathways, the Syringe Filters Chromafil® Ptfe, 0.2 μm, 25 mm, is a valuable addition to the syringe filter category. This non-sterile filter boasts a hydrophobic PTFE membrane with a pore size of 0.2 μm, ensuring efficient filtration of samples with volumes ranging from 5 to 100 ml. The compact PP housing offers excellent chemical resistance and low extractable substances content, making it suitable for various applications in labware, filtration, water purification, dialysis, and separation. With a filtration area of 4.9 cm² and a dead volume of approximately 80 μl, this filter can be autoclaved at 121 °C and 1.1 bar for 30 minutes, offering versatility in its usage. The Luer lock and Luer connections on both ends facilitate easy integration into laboratory equipment. Despite its robust design, it should be noted that the maximum operating pressure is limited to 6 bar and the maximum application temperature is 55 °C.
